It works by breaking down into low-molecular-weight organic acids in the colon, which increases the osmotic pressure. This causes an increase in water content in stools and stool volume, thereby making the stool softer and easier to pass
LACTITOL- Lactitol promotes colon health as a prebiotic. It is broken down to short chain organic acids in colon which results in an increase in osmotic pressure ,thereby causing an increase in the stool water content and stool volume.
ISPAGHULA- It absorbs water in the GI tract to form a mucilaginous mass which increases the volume of faces and hence promotes peristalsis.
How much does one pack of EL LAXIHUSK contain?
It contains 200 gms granules per pack. It is recommended to take 20 gm twice daily in water per day or as directed by the health professional.
How long does it take to experience any benefit?
Results vary from individual to individual . There is no maximum length of time over which EL LAXIHUSK may be used. A regular intake is recommended.
